Replacing dishrack rollers on Kenmore 587-series and Frigidaire dishwashers video
Broken dishrack rollers or wheels can make it hard to slide a rack in and out of a dishwasher. This video shows you how to fix broken rollers or wheels on a Kenmore 587-Series or Frigidaire dishwasher in just a few minutes.

How to replace the upper dishrack roller
Pull the upper dishrack out of the dishwasher a few inches. Remove each rack stop by pulling down on the bottom tab then pulling the front of the stop outward and sliding the stop up and off the rail.
Pull the dishrack out of the dishwasher and turn it upside down.
Pull off the broken roller.
Snap the new roller on the dishrack.
Slide the upper dishrack back into tracks and reinstall the track stops.
How to replace the lower dishrack roller
Pull out the lower rack and remove the silverware basket.
Turn the dishrack upside down and pull off the broken roller. Use pliers if needed.
Snap the new roller on the rack.
Put the silverware basket back in the dishrack and slide the rack back into the tub.
