Replacing upper dishrack stationary or adjustable rollers on Kenmore 665-series and Whirlpool dishwashers video
If a broken upper dishrack roller prevents the dishwasher rack from sliding in and out easily, this quick and easy repair will get you on your way again. This video is for Kenmore 665-series and Whirlpool dishwashers with stationary or adjustable upper dishrack rollers.

Remove the upper dishrack
Press the release tab and pull the rack stop off the inside track of the rail. If your dishwasher has different rack stops, follow the instructions in your owner’s manual.
Pull the dishrack out and set it upside down.
Replace the broken roller
Release the locking tab and pull off the broken roller assembly.
Push the new roller assembly on the dishrack until it locks.
Some assemblies use a retaining latch to attach the roller assembly to the dishrack.
Push in the locking tab to release the retaining latch, then push down and remove the broken roller.
Position the new roller assembly and push the retaining latch up to attach the new roller.
Reinstall the upper dishrack
Once the new roller is on, slide the wheels into the track rails and push the upper dishrack into the dishwasher. Reinstall the rack stops.
