Anyone can install this part.
I broke the oil tube and dip stick On my Craftsman mower. To install the tube, remove the three screws on the top of the engine that hold the fuel tank in place. Pull the fuel tank up and towards the rear. No need to disconnect the fuel line. When the tank is moved you'll be able to see the three screws that hold the Oil tube in place. Two on the top on one at the bottom. Before removing the Oil tube, clear away dirt and grass from around the hole into the crankcase. You'll see the replacement gaskets in the tube kit. Remove the old gaskets and use the new ones that match up in size. Push the new tube with new gaskets into the hole and visually inspect for good fitment. Reassemble tube and tank. Inspect for gas leaks since the tank has been moved. Start and check for leak around the new oil tube gaskets. Happy mowing. You just saved big bucks by DIY!
