Lawn tractor axle weldment
It appears to be a good quality part but it does not come with the center bushing and the old part has a molded bushing that cannot be removed

Front axle for Craftsman LT1000 lawn tractor
I bought this axle to replace the 20 year old one on my mower that broke. This one is built similar to the original, the only difference is how it is welded at the spindles. Great price and I would have given it 5 stars had they did a better job on the weld beads at the spindle entrances on the ends. One of the right side welds was blown out and they never went back over it to get a good clean weld. They just painted it and called it good. One thing I want to mention is if you order this axle, it doesn't come with the plastic spacer bearing (part# 136518) or the steel inner spacer brace (part# 160367) where the main bolt goes through the front axle brace at the center axle hole pivot point. I used my old ones, but, if I did it again, I would just look up these part numbers and order new ones with the axle if they are available. Everything went together well and works well. Overall, great price and an almost exact replacement for my Craftsman LT1000.

Good price for a new part
The part fit great. Getting the old pieces off only required a socket head for a 4+3 bolts and pliers to remove a few cotter pins and E-clips. A jack is required or you can lift it yourself and have someone slide a stand in place to hold it up. You probably will want to borrow/buy a grease gun for the new axle wear the tire rods go in. Some WD40 will work for a few hours.

Failure again!
The parts shown are not my last received part that was on backorder. I ordered a brake puck; but I received a black washer instead of the puck. Please send me what I ordered. Your records should show that this is the 2nd time I have ordered the brake puck...and the first time I ordered it, I received the same incorrect part (like this one) & had to reorder again.
