Love the Kenmore but hate the design flaw
After 5 years, I still love this vacuum. Regrettably whoever engineered it and Sears failed to address the problem with a way too-short hose. The hose is impossibly short and using it causes the vacuum to tip. I've even had it tip several times knocking me in the head or into a glass table. The hose sent as an extension is equally flawed in that it does not want to stay attached without resorting to Duct Tape. Sadly, Sears has sold off what assets existed and moved towards 'soft goods.' Perhaps if Sears focused on design and engineering appliances rather than selling sheets and clothing that can easily be purchased in 100's of other retail places, then I would not have to write this. Also, when trying to order through 'Chat' on customer service, I was badgered to give my credit card information and asked more than once to simply be provided the item number. Not cool, Sears. Not cool.
