Very good product, what became of Sears is tragic
Very good product; have never had any issues with replacing the filter cartridge. The Kenmore refrigerator lets me know when it is time to replace, but in my case, I know that every 6 months the filter cartridge should be replaced. Only downside is that Sears and Kenmore appliances are not the same anymore. This is my last Kenmore refrigerator. It is a shame what happened to this once great retailer. I am not buying a refrigerator on-line and Sears has stopped working with Whirlpool, so things have changed for the worse. Sears has lost its way, it used to my automatic 'go-to' place to buy appliances.

It pays to replace the water filter!
Very easy to remove the old filter and install the new filter. Followed the instructions for flushing the water line and everything is working fine. Water tastes great again, especially the ice.
