I have the wrong bag, I need the 2.4 Bu bag. How do I exchange bags and identify the one that I need? I do have a Sears Craftsman mower.

Grass bag close, but not close enough
I looked up my mower's model number on the Sears Parts website to get the correct bag. Although close, it is not an exact replacement with a different design around the front of the frame. Too bad.

Too small and lower quality than original
Needed significant modification to fit my mower. Took out the seams and sewed in additional material to make it big enough at the opening. The overall capacity is much lower than my original bag. It also doesn't have the extra dust blocking flap in the back. Buy one of the more expensive options.

Best replacement
Fits better than aftermarket bags but still requires trimming. The design doesn't take into account the 'hooks' that are welded onto the bag frame holding the frame to the mower. I would think a factory bag would fit better without trimming it more.
