Unsatisfactory shipping
The filters did not arrive in a sealed box. Rather, it came in cardboard packaging where the 2 end flaps were not sealed (only held together by some shipping tape), so the filters were subject to the elements during transit. And the cardboard packaging was black and dirty, so I can only imagine dirt making its way into the exposed filters through the open end flaps. And one of the filters was damaged.
