Humidity sensor malfunction

Check/Repair

Unplug the dehumidifier and make sure the humidity sensor wire harness connection on the electronic control board is secure. If the wire harness connection is secure, replace the humidity sensor. If the problem persists after replacing the humidity sensor, replace the electronic control board.

Evaporator coil thermistor malfunction

Check/Repair

The evaporator coil thermistor is a temperature sensor on the evaporator coil that monitors the evaporator coil's temperature. Unplug the dehumidifier and make sure the evaporator coil thermistor wire harness connection on the electronic control board is secure. If the wire harness connection is secure, replace the evaporator coil thermistor. If the problem persists after replacing the evaporator coil thermistor, replace the electronic control board.

Dehumidifier is defrosting

Check/Repair

When excessive frost collects on the evaporator coil, the dehumidifier begins the defrost mode and P1 is displayed on some dehumidifier models. No action is required when the dehumidifier is operating properly.

Collection bucket is full

Check/Repair

Remove and empty the collection bucket.

CO

Continuous operation mode is activated

Check/Repair

CO is displayed on the control panel when the dehumidifier is placed in the continuous run mode. No action is required when the dehumidifier is operating properly.
