The control sensed that the upper oven overheated
If the upper oven overheated, the electronic oven control board likely has a stuck relay; replace the electronic control board. If the upper oven is at room temperature, the upper oven temperature sensor could be defective. Unplug the range and measure the upper oven temperature sensor resistance using a volt/ohm meter. If the resistance isn't 1100 ohms at 72 degrees F, replace the upper oven temperature sensor. If the resistance is correct, check the upper oven temperature sensor wiring. Replace the wire harness if damaged. If the wiring is okay, replace the electronic control board.
The control sensed that the lower oven overheated
If the lower oven overheated, the electronic oven control board likely has a stuck relay; replace the electronic control board. If the lower oven is at room temperature, the lower oven temperature sensor could be defective. Unplug the range and measure the lower oven temperature sensor resistance using a volt/ohm meter. If the resistance isn't 1100 ohms at 72 degrees F, replace the lower oven temperature sensor. If the resistance is correct, check the lower oven temperature sensor wiring. Replace the wire harness if damaged. If the wiring is okay, replace the electronic control board.
