The salesman sold me a part I did NOT NEED.
November 01, 2022

The salesman on the phone told me this product would come with instructions and it did not. I also explained to the salesman that the water leak I was having a problem with was in the hose going to the part. He assured me this part would solve my problem' And it did not. All I had to do was replace that section of the hose. I did not even need the part he sold me.

Filter Valve has not remedied the problem.
March 16, 2022

We purchased this part after chatting with a representative about our problem with the refrigerator not dispensing water. She assured us that this was the part we needed. We followed the instructions for changing the part and the refrigerator still does not dispense water. The ice maker is not working as well.

Relatively easy to install once old part removed.
July 13, 2021

Took about 45 minutes, most difficulty with removing old part hoses due to flanged holders for water lines.

Instructions needed. Easy to install (installed along with filter housing), but not to get it to work. Still had to bring in an appliance repair specialist

Is it the water inlet valve or something else?
May 02, 2020

There isn't any directions for installing this smart valve. I checked the continuity of the coils and got readings of 236.5 ohms and 194.6 ohms, not the 500-1500 ohms from the video on there website. So I ordered a new one thinking my old valve was bad. The new one had about the same reading as old valve. It was the ice maker motor that needed replacement after all.
