Definitely doable even for an old lady!

I used a flat spatula to clean between counter and glass to remove sticky residue that had accumulated through use. Flipped breakers but did undo wiring. Used some of the packing cardboard as chock blocks to access the 12 screws. A 2nd person was useful to remove and replace the unit.

I turned on breaker to test and had nothing. Removed glass and found my connector was not fully connected.. it's good as new now!
When installing circuit board onto new top, take care and ensure is fully seated.
Note the sturdy cardboard chocks.
Remove the board from old glass by pressing in at the bottom of each of the 4 white plastic connectors. Go slowly and take care not to tweak the board .
Push locking clips to the putside to remove board. When reconnecting, the clips will engage when you have it properly installed.

It was very easy to install. To bad you no longer make a white top. I chose this product specifically because it would last along time and be supported. That is not the case.

unfortunately this glass replacement top was not marked "fragile" or to be handled carefully and was all broken inside of the sealed box; very disappointing.
