This did not fix my issue, but the part looks new and seems to work as inteneded. This was installed on an Electrolux Stove and was easy enough to install.

It took a little research on line to ascertain why my part was needed. The thermal High-Limit Switch fails after being tripped (3-4 trips) by excessive heat from the self-cleaning cycle with this Electrolux Model. The manufacturer obviously doesn't care about this design flaw and has no remedy to replace or fix the defect. Thus, the consumer must have the switch replaced by a service technician, or do it themselves. After watching a repair tech reset the switch and confirm this problem is in fact a design flaw, I bought a new switch and replaced the item myself. The entire double oven as to be removed to accomplish this, but it was worth getting it fixed and now knowing the problem exists in case of future need. While I replaced the switch I added some additional venting to my overhead cabinet to allow for heat dissipation to help remedy this problem from happening again.
