Dishwasher was going wonky...sometimes it would select the correct cycle, other times it did not. A power cycle sometimes fixed it but eventually that would not. I believe that the original unit was dislodged and was overheating. New unit went in and works great. Saved up to $300 (parts and service cal) by replacing it myself.

Correct part & working dishwashwasher = win!
Random flashing lights on control panel and dishwasher didn't start when I wanted to and did start when it wanted to. Control panel fixed the problem. If you are familiar with appliance repair at all this is fairly easy.
