Easy install
Correctly diagnosis is key to this, removal was a pain with the clips, but install was super fast. Dryer works again. So there's that.

Got what I needed
Replacing the timer on this cheap Amana dryer was about as simple as could be. 15 minutes max likely less. Was able to quickly identify the part number on the Sears site and get it on order. Right part and fixed the problem. Repair guy wanted $500 to fix the machine, more than a new one.
