Reviews
Perfect, thanks Sears!
Straight forward to install. One recommendation looking back that I would do the next time. I had to remove the stove top lid a second time after installing the unit to reposition it for correct alignment. The next time I would remove the stove top lid and then tie a string across the center of the unit, marking the exact location on the string with a black marker. All of this BEFORE removing the old unit. This way installing the new unit can be a one time process - locating the unit exactly where it needs to be. The stove works perfectly now. Before replacing it the sparking was happening at the base of the porcelain insulator instead of at the top. I believe I cracked the starter stem when I bumped it with a tool while removing burners for cleaning. Lesson here: be extra careful with the sparker. Even a small crack will allow the sparking to take place in an undesirable location.
