Hoped for better results.
I put the new carburetor on and the blower started right up but within about a minute it started choking and slowing down, then died. I could not keep it running no matter what I did and you have to have a special screwdriver to make any adjustments.

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Very straight forward
The ethanol based fuel these days just corrodes out aluminum carbs and polly based fuel lines. New car, fuel lines and filter / pickup and she's running like a new machine again. Just need to run her dry at the end of the season as fuel stabilizers are marginal at best.

My leaf blower now purrs like a kitten!
If the fuel lines from the tank are okay, then changing out the carb is a simple and quick job.
