Right-front range burner replacement

This product is the exact replacement as stated for the kenmore stove. The fact that it cam with all the screws is a plus since it is impossible to remove the old screws without them breaking. Installation was a breeze.

Easy install but not tecnically the right way

The part was perfect, and well priced from SearsPartsDirect. However, for my range, the Frigidaire fgf379wjcb, to remove the burner head assembly you are technically supposed to remove all 4 burners before lifting up the range top to get access to the assembly and connected gas lines. Unfortunately, all of the bolts holding on the burner heads are rusty (and not screw heads but tiny hex bolts) and could not be removed without breaking off the heads. Therefore, I was forced to just remove the front right burner that I was replacing and then gently lifting the range top as far as the aluminum gas lines on the other burners would flex - about 6 inches. Fortunately, this was enough to give me the access I needed to the front right burner head assembly. With some work and the help of WD40, I was able to remove the gas line from that assembly and re-connect it to the new one. From there it was a piece of cake. This is not the recommended approach, but unfortunately necessary on this older model range.
