Craftsman DYT 4000 917.273632 Mower Deck
This was an exact replacement for my lawn tractor. Easy swap over of all parts from old deck. Was delivered quickly in a heavy duty box with no damage to the deck and essentially no damage to the shipping container either. Very impressive. With some TLC I see this deck lasting another 20 years (mowing a 1.5 acre yard) just like the original did.

Exact fit
It's an exact one for one fit with the OEM deck. Takes a bit of time to dismantle from the old deck to the new one. Just take a lot of 'before' pictures and give yourself a bit of time. You will definitely need a large wrench with a long handle for leverage. The screws are pretty jammed over the years.

no updates were given, item arrived bent{hanger}. packaging was horrible,bounced around in the box and tore multiple holes in the box itself. but the item itself is well made and I straitened the bent hanger myself. arrived two weeks early.

If what you have to put on new deck from old is good it's pretty easy, the blade housings are aluminum bolts my brake when removing I had one per housing brake so I drilled out and retap 5/16-18 not for first timers.
