Cooktop replacement
Thank goodness for you tube. There is a video of a repairman changing out the cooktop. Knowing when to remove fasteners in the proper order made the replacement very easy. Shipping took a week longer than we were told when we ordered the unit but deliveries are backed up nowadays. The cooktop was packaged very securely and arrived with no damage whatsoever

Glad we went this route
Great! We were surprised at how well this actually went. We followed written internet instructions and regret not getting a video. It truly took patience, a screwdriver, and being watchful of the clips to move the front control panel, cooktop, and lock on front of burner panel. We had the clips marked so we knew they went back in the right place and in an hour we had a cooktop again!

The glass was easy to install.
The space for the stove was tight. Moving the stove took longer than the install. If the top breaks again, I will replace the stove. The replacement of the glass was very easy
