Lint trap works but price is ridiculous
It was the right part, delivered on time and fit perfectly. The price of the item I thought outrageous, $79. With tax, shipping and handling it was close to $100. Ridiculous for a lint trap.

Dryer Lint Filter
This filter doesn't fit in place properly and clothes have gotten caught on the corner and ripped/ruined. I ordered one from Amazon and had the same issue so I decided to buy another direct from the manufacturer, but had the same problem.

Expensive garbage!
It is very thin compared to the original and it sticks out, even when it is put in properly. This allows for thin clothes and sheets to get caught and wrapped around it. It damaged my shirts, skirts, and sheets. To avoid more clothes from being ruined, i put them in mesh laundry bags while in the dryer. I have not found a mesh laundry bag large enough to fit sheets, so i dry those at a friends house. This is also made by LG, not Kenmore like the original was. You may have better luck and definitely more money left in your wallet if you try something from Amazon. I am sure what they have to offer cannot be worse than this expensive garbage.
