Not the same as original.

Everything is exactly the same except for the screw hole size under front lip for the stabilizing metal strip. The original stabilizing strip and screws will not attach because the new tops hole are HUGE. Now the front of my range can't be bumped and I can't put any weight at all ( boiling noodles) at all in fear of cracking the top.
