Extremely easy to install
It only took about 10 minutes. pry off the little center cap, unscrew the bolt with a 7/16 socket, pull out the old washplate and put the new one on. It came with a new bolt so all I did was tighten it down.

Easy to instal
This part is called a washplate and operates similar to an agitator. My washplate was not agitating because its teeth were worn down to a point where the washplate was not engaged to the shaft that turns it. Replacing the washplate requires removing the bolt that connects the washplate to the underlying shaft. After removing the bolt, the washplate can be difficult to remove. There are many videos on YouTube that explains how to remove a difficult washplate.

Washer Plate

Obvious design flaw
This is my third replacement of this same part in as many years. All other suppliers are sold out of this part, which suggest that many other people are experiencing this same problem. Sears should reduce the price accordingly, instead of charging more than all of the independent parts suppliers for this part until it can be redesigned.

The washplate was simple to install. Wish the description told you it came with the screw. I ordered a screw and didn't need to and can't return it.
