some effort to install
All parts that were needed to facilitate installation were included but I had to even change the wiring harness due to plugs not matching up with existing harness on my refrig. The 4 inch extra short harness included in the kit converted the new ice maker to the new harness that comes with the kit but this causes you to have approx. 8 inches of slack you have to stuff and tie up on the back side of the icemaker where it mounts to the refrig. If the manufacturer had made this short cable a little longer and made to as where you could swap cables on the cord that is wired on the ice maker, it would do away with all the excess cable and extra electrical plug connections
