Baking tips to follow when using your Panasonic bread machine

  • Use pre-packaged bread mixes for best results. Follow the instructions listed for use on the bread mix package.
  • Maintain the currently activated program if a power failure occurs. A power failure back-up system in the bread machine stores the active program that you selected for 30 minutes. If power is restored within 30 minutes, the bread machine returns to bread making at the point where it left off.
  • If a power failure lasts longer than 30 minutes, and you're using dairy products, perishables or meats in your bread, discard the contents of the recipe and start over using fresh ingredients. This is for health and sanitary reasons.
  • The power failure back-up doesn't work when power surges occur through the electrical lines. If your home's electrical supply experiences frequent power surges, use a surge protector on the electrical outlet for the bread machine.

Bread pan instructions when using your Panasonic bread machine

  • To insert the bread pan into the bread machine, align it in the oven case and push down until the bread pan snaps into place.
  • Remember to insert the kneading paddle before adding ingredients into the bread pan.
  • To remove the bread pan from the oven case, use an oven mitt and grip the bread pan handle and lift it up gently.
  • Turn the bread pan upside down and gently shake it to remove the loaf.
  • Remove the kneading paddle from the loaf. If the kneading paddle sticks in the load, use a non-metal utensil to gently remove the kneading paddle.
