Storing your Dirt Devil floor scrubber

  • Turn the floor scrubber off and disconnect the power cord from the electrical outlet. Wrap the power cord around the brackets on the floor scrubber handle to store the power cord.
  • Empty the rinse solution tank and recovery tank. Rinse both tanks thoroughly with water. Allow both tanks to air dry before storing the floor scrubber.
  • Press the upper handle release button to lower the handle for storage.
  • Store the floor scrubber on a flat surface so nothing is pressing against the nozzle squeegee.

How to clean the brushes on your Dirt Devil floor scrubber

  • Unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet to disconnect electrical power.
  • Pull the nozzle release buttons out and remove the nozzle.
  • Tilt the floor scrubber back so its handle rests on the floor.
  • Push the brush release buttons and remove the brush assembly.
  • Wash the brush assembly using mild detergent and rinse the brush assembly thoroughly with plain water. Allow the brush assembly to dry completely.
  • Reinstall the brush assembly and reassemble the floor scrubber.
