Skil planer maintenance tips
Unplug the planer and blow out all sawdust and wood chips after each use. Wipe down the planer with a damp cloth.

Check the carbon motor brushes regularly. Replace the carbon motor brushes when they wear down to their wear replacement mark. Replace both carbon brushes at the same time.
