HEPA filter. The HEPA filter fits inside the air purifier and captures up to 99.97% of airborne contaminants as small as 0.3 microns. The HEPA filter can't be washed. It needs to be replaced according to the instructions in the owner's manual.
Pre-filter. The pre-filter fits in front of the HEPA filter and traps odors and large particles from the air as it passes through the air purifier.
Fan motor. The fan motor spins the fan blades to circulate the air through the air purifier filters.
Remote control. The remote control lets you operate the air cleaner from a short distance away.
Replacing filters in your Sperti air purifier
Turn off the air purifier and unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet.
Carefully lay the air purifier down on a padded flat surface with the front grille facing up.
Remove the front grille. Pull off the pre-filter and discard it. Pull out the HEPA filter and discard it.
Remove packing from the new HEPA filter and pre-filter. Insert the new HEPA filter into the air purifier. Install the prefilter.
Reinstall the front grille and set the air purifier upright. Restore electrical power to the air purifier and turn it on.
