Troubleshooting your Temco furnace when it's not heating
- Check the power supply. Reset the house circuit breaker for your furnace if the breaker tripped.
- Check the thermostat setting. Adjust the thermostat if it's set to low.
- Make sure the gas supply valve going to your furnace is fully open.
- If the above tips don't help, you'll likely need to have the furnace serviced.
Common Temco furnace replacement parts
- Gas valve assembly. The gas valve opens to ignite the burner and heat your home.
- Thermocouple. The thermocouple detects whether the burner is lit.
- Thermostat. The thermostat detects the temperature inside your home and cycles the furnace on and off to maintain the set temperature.
