Operating tips for Honeywell electronic air purifiers
Run your Honeywell electronic air purifier constantly for the best efficiency. Set the fan switch on your homes central air conditioner or furnace thermostat to the on position so the central unit's fan constantly circulates air through the air purifier.
Clean or change the pre-filter regularly to maintain air flow through the air purifier. Wash the collector cell when the monitor indicates that the cell needs cleaning. Replace the post-filter every six months of usage.
Common Honeywell air purifier parts
- Charcoal filter. The charcoal filter traps dust particles and odors from air as it passes through the air purifier.
- Collector cell. The collector cell is the interior section of the air purifier and contains ionizing wires that attracts and traps dirt, pollen and smoke.
- Fan motor. The fan motor spins the fan blades to circulate the air through the filters.
- Front grill. The front grill fits over and covers the filters while allowing air to circulate through its slats.
