Top-selling replacement parts for Brinkman gas grills

  • Firebox. The firebox on a gas grill is made of a heavy-weight metal and houses the burner, flavor bars and grates. The gas valve manifold is mounted on the front of the firebox.
  • Igniter module. The electric spark igniter module creates a spark that arcs to the burner to ignite the gas when the burner is on. The igniter module has either a battery or a piezoelectric system.
  • Gas collector box. The gas collector box on a gas grill is a partially enclosed box at the inlet to the burner tube that accumulates gas during the ignition process. The igniter electrode ignites the gas accumulated in the gas collector box.
  • Grill wheels. The wheels on the gas grill make it easier to move.

Troubleshooting your Brinkman gas grill when burners aren't getting gas

First, check the tank's propane level to make sure the tank has gas. Next, reset the pressure regulator to restore gas flow through the regulator if the regulator's flow-limiting device tripped. Replace the pressure regulator if it doesn't allow gas to flow to the manifold after resetting the flow-limiting device. Check the operation of the burner valves on the manifold and replace the manifold if gas doesn't flow properly to the burner tubes when you open the manifold's valves.

Gas won't flow through misaligned burner tubes, so check and adjust burner tube alignment with the gas valves. Clogs in the burner tubes can also inhibit gas flow through the tubes. Clean clogs such as spider webs and spills from the burner tubes to restore gas flow through the tubes.
