How to level your Danby wine or beverage cooler

  1. Position the wine or beverage cooler on a flat, level surface capable of supporting the unit when it's full.
  2. Check vertical and horizontal leveling using a bubble or laser level.
  3. Adjust leveling legs to properly level the wine or beverage cooler side to side and front to back. Level the wine or beverage cooler front-to-back with a slight tilt backward so the door swings gently shut when you let it go.
  4. Press down on diagonally opposing corners of the cabinet to check for stability. Adjust leveling legs to eliminate any rocking.

Most common Danby wine cooler parts that need replacing

  1. Door switch. The door switch detects whether the door is open or shut. The door switch also activates the interior light when you open the door.
  2. Control panel. The control panel displays set temperature, actual temperature and houses the selections buttons for the control
  3. Wire rack. The wire rack houses wine bottles inside the wine cooler.
  4. Toe grill. The toe grill covers the bottom front portion of the cabinet under the door. The toe grill has slots that allow air to circulate through the cabinet to cool the control and cooling system components.
