Loading staples in your Porter Cable power stapler

• Remove the battery from the power stapler before loading staples. Engage the trigger lock-off.
• Turn the power stapler upside down.
• Slide the spring-loaded staple pusher latch to the of the staple magazine and lock the pusher into place.
• Drop staple strips into the loading slot of the magazine. Make sure all the staples line up correctly with the slot opening.
• Keeping your finger clear of the track, close the magazine cover by releasing the pusher latch. Carefully allow the latch to slide forward and engage the staple strips.

• Keep the work area clean and well lit because cluttered or dark areas can cause accidents.
