How to use your Ohio Steel lawn sweeper
- Inspect the lawn sweeper before each use. Tighten any loose fasteners and replace any broken parts.
- Mow the grass to an even height before using the lawn sweeper.
- Adjust the sweeper brush height so brushes are ½-inch down into the grass.
- Sweep the lawn at a speed of 3 m.p.h. Adjust sweeping speed if necessary to achieve the best results.
- Dump debris out of the hopper when it's full. Don't overfill the hopper.
Common Ohio Steel lawn sweeper replacement parts
- Brush. The brush rotates on the drive rod and picks up leaves and debris from the lawn.
- Pinion gear. The pinion gear meshes with the gear teeth on the wheel to drive the rod that spins the brushes.
- Hopper bag. The hopper bag collects the leaves and lawn debris for disposal.
- Drive rod. The drive rod attaches to the pinion and spins the brushes to sweep the lawn.
