The touch panel control board detects food or water on the touch key panel. Clean the panel. If the code persists when the key panel is clean, replace the touch panel control board.

Check/Repair

Check if an empty pan is being heated. Check the vents for blockage. Disconnect power and then check the fan for an obstruction. Check the wiring connections on the electronic control boards. If the problem persists, replace the element.

Check/Repair

Disconnect power for 30 seconds and then restore power. If the code returns, have an electrician verify that proper voltage is supplied to the cooktop. If voltage exceeds 208 volts replace the filter control board.

Disconnect power for 30 seconds and then restore power. If the code returns, disconnect power and check the wiring connection between the element temperature sensor and the Generator Control Board. If the wiring connections are good, replace the element (the sensor is a component on the element). If the problem persists, replace the generator control board.
