Kenmore Oasis dryer error codes

A power failure occurred while the dryer was running. Press Start to continue the cycle or press Stop to clear the display. If this code frequently appears, check the power cord and replace it if it's damaged.

Unplug the dryer for 5 minutes and the plug the dryer back in. If the code reappears, replace the main electronic control board.

A stuck button on the user interface control board causes this code. If you can't free the stuck key, replace the user interface control board.

The heater relay on the main electronic control board failed. Unplug the dryer and replace the main electronic control board.

Unplug the dryer. Check the resistance of the exhaust thermistor (temperature sensor). It should measure about 10,000 ohms at room temperature. If the thermistor is defective, replace it.

Unplug the dryer. Check the wiring connections between the main electronic control board and the drive motor. If the wiring connections are sound, replace the drive motor.

Check the wiring harness connections between the moisture sensor and the main electronic control board. If the wiring connections are sound, replace the moisture sensor.

The L2 leg of 240 volt power is below 30 volts. Check the house circuit breakers for the dryer and reset the L2 breaker if it's tripped. Unplug the dryer and check the power cord wire connections on the terminal block. Reconnect any loose wires or replace the power cord if it's damaged. Have an electrician check the 240 volt power supply for the dryer.

Unplug the dryer and check the wire harness connections between the blower motor control board and the main electronic control board. Reconnect any loose wires or replace the wire harness if damaged. A blown thermal fuse will prevent the blower motor control board from getting power, triggering the F-40 code. Check the resistance of the thermal fuse. Replace the thermal fuse if you measure infinite resistance through the fuse. Check the wire harness connections between the blower motor and the blower motor control board. Reconnect any loose wires or replace the wire harness if damaged. Check to see if the blower fan spins freely. If not, check for a clog or restriction in the fan housing. Replace the blower fan if it's damaged. If the wire connections, thermal fuse and blower fan are okay, replace the blower motor control board.

Check to see if the blower fan spins freely. If not, check for a clog or restriction in the fan housing. Replace the blower fan if it's damaged. If the blower fan is okay, replace the blower motor control board.

Unplug the dryer and check the power cord connections on the terminal block. Reconnect any loose wires or replace the power cord if damaged. Have an electrician check the power supply voltage to the dryer.

Unplug the dryer and check the wire harness connections between the blower motor control board and the main electronic control board. Reconnect any loose wires or replace the wire harness if damaged. A blown thermal fuse will prevent the blower motor control board from getting power, triggering the F-44 code. Check the resistance of the thermal fuse. Replace the thermal fuse if you measure infinite resistance through the fuse. Check the wire harness connections between the blower motor and the blower motor control board. Reconnect any loose wires or replace the wire harness if damaged. Check to see if the blower fan spins freely. If not, check for a clog or restriction in the fan housing. Replace the blower fan if it's damaged. If the wire connections, thermal fuse and blower fan are okay, replace the blower motor control board.

Check for a clogged exhaust vent because a clogged vent can restrict fan speed and trigger the F-45 code. Check to see if the blower fan spins freely. If not, check for a clog or restriction in the fan housing. Replace the blower fan if the fan spins freely and the exhaust vent is clear.

Check the wire harness connections between the blower motor and the blower motor control board. Reconnect any loose wires or replace the wire harness if damaged. Check to see if the blower fan spins freely. If not, check for a clog or restriction in the fan housing. Replace the blower fan if the fan spins freely and the exhaust vent is clear.

This error code may appear when entering diagnostics but you should ignore it because it isn't used.
