Easy to install but must fix root cause of failure

My frig has the ice dispenser totally in the door. The cause of the failure was the ice dispenser door not sealing properly. This faulty door causes the ice in the bin to clump together making the auger seize. The ice door is a lot more difficult to change than the coupling but fixing the ice door will prevent the coupling from failing again. U-Tube has instructions on replacing the ice door.

Incorrect part

Spoke with gentleman about the part I needed and we ended up ordering the incorrect part. This coupler was for the motor. I nneded the coupler for the ice tray.
