This igniter switch (part number 316032002) is for cooktops.

Igniter switch 316032002 provides the spark for the burner to ignite when the knob is in the Lite position.

Shut off gas supply and unplug the cooktop before installing this part.

Switch fixed my problem
January 10, 2021

Cooking oil got into my original switch causing it to occasionally make a sizzling noise. Also, the eye igniters would start popping/arcing by itself. Replacing the switch fixed my issue.
