Special details: Smooth folds and creases in gasket 3206256 by soaking it in warm water or warming it with a hair dryer on low heat.

This door gasket (part number 3206256) is for freezers.

Door gasket 3206256 creates a seal around the door to prevent warm air from entering the freezer.

Safely store any food that could deteriorate while the power is off and unplug the freezer before installing this part. Wear work gloves to protect your hands.

Door won't Close now

Gasket came undamaged and I finally got it installed to my satisfaction, after about 6 hours. After the top, I recommend doing the low hinge side corner next. Now, however, the door won't close. Latchpin is hanging vertically in its nook, not engaging. ??
