Exactly what I needed for my Kenmore elite washing machine. The old one that the prior owner left did not have the special little tip in it that it needed. This one does not get filled up with water like the old one did.

Replacement fixed the problem.
It is hard to believe one of these can go 'bad', but ours started to fill with water and no longer drained. Replacing it with another just like it resolved the problem.
