Looks just like the original one in every way
Just gently push it on as it's made of plastic. Over time the plastic tabs will break and when not on, ice will spew all over the place. Glad to have another one on.

Shorted me a part
Repairing the ice funnel chute that I broke trying to get to the micro switch behind the dispenser paddle. Ordered the both the ice funnel chute and micro switch. the chute was delivered but no micro switch. Probably will go with a different parts store next time.

Super easy to install, especially after breaking the first one on removal. See, the water/ice dispenser on my Kenmore Elite refrigerator likes to gum up and stick in the 'on' position. So it's human nature to pull at it to cease the flow of water on your floor, thus breaking two parts on the fridge. Super easy to install once you purchase the replacement parts. Well played Kenmore, well played.
