I'm so thankful to be able to find the part we needed. A repair man said it would cost $8 for the part and $280 in labor fees to install it. It literally took him 10 seconds to take it out and put it back. Very happy with the short time it took to get here, the cost and the savings in doing it myself.

Ice & water dispenser

Replaced the micro switch, switch button, and button spring on a Kenmore Elite model 795.72043.112 refrigerator Ice and water dispenser. The original button had broken at the hinge and the microswitch wiring had corrosion on the contact surfaces. The replacement button had an improved hinge made the repair easier than with the original button. Kind of tricky to get the spring and button lined up to snap the hinge pins in place. Works like new now.

Hard part was pulling the unit out and not breaking any tabs. Inastaking the switch and reinstalling the unit only took a few minutes.
