Not the same 9085 Filter
This is not the same product that was sold in years past. The NSF certifications have changed to 42 and 372 according to the packaging. The previous version had an NSF certification of 42, 53 and 401 which filters out more chemicals. I haven't tried the newer one yet, but from other reviews I've seen I'm not sure if I will be satisfied. I checked this item on the website and the product information has not been updated to show the new NSF changes. I want to know if there are any of old ones I can purchase with the better quality standards. The packaging is also different. Wrapped in plastic, no pink cap.

This filter worked and fit well - bought an "kenmore filter" from amazon that I truly believe was a cheap knockoff that did not fit properly - this one from Sears saying made in USA was the real McCoy!
