Slightly Defective
The part was the right one and a Genuine GE part, but the solenoid wasn't mounted securely to the valve and I had to put it in place and then use a piece of rubber to hold it securely in place.

Poor Tech Info
Thank you for another opportunity to express my disappointment in your service. Gave model number of dishwasher to your rep. A part was shipped. Wrong part for my model number. Your computer should have known the part needed for the machine is no longer made. Anything to make a sale. Whether it fits OR NOT. Was sent a replacement for first part but was sent the same wrong part. All parts returned by UPS. Hopefully I get a refund. If model is obsolete then say so. Will not be using a service that dosent have product knowledge that seems should have

Poor Tech Info
Gave model number from door of portable dishwasher. Sales said we have the part. Ordered, paid got part 8 days later. Wrong part for the machine. Threads on inside not on outside as on original part. Called back and got return authorization. Given alternate places to search for the part. Ultimately, found out not part available for this model. Machine now in trash. Don't trust their parts department to have sufficient knowledge. Persons on phone friendly trying to sell parts no matter what.

Dishwasher water valve
The only problem was the mounting of the new valve. I only had to drill a couple of small holes for the mounting bracket in a different place. Worked really well.
