Washer washplate AGZ72909702 is an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) part that fits some top-load washers in these series: Kenmore Elite 796; and LG WT1101, WT1501, WT1701, WT1801, WT4870, WT4970, WT5070, WT5170, WT5270, WT5480, WT6001 and WT7600.
p>Washplate AGZ72909702 turns back and forth at the bottom of the spin basket to circulate the wash load through the water.
To remove, lift the top washer panel, remove the tub ring and pull off the washplate cap; then remove the washplate mounting screw and pull out the washplate.
It works. I didn't realize it came with a screw already in it.
