I could not use it. It was the wrong type thread. The thread on the element was a fine thread the new nut was a course thread.

Does not match my item. Caution.

This item is the replacement item for my model number but it does not match my original heating element nut. My heating element nut is white pvc and this nut is a made of a better material than the original but the threads are completely different. The threads on the new black nut are much more coarse than the threads on my original white pvc nut. I had to repair my original nut to complete my dishwasher repair. It's working for now but I am still trying to source a replacement,
