This genuine GE water filter (part number RPWFE) is designed to fit select GE French-door refrigerators.
The RPWFE water filter offers GE's most advanced filtration and is certified to reduce chlorine-resistant cysts, lead, select pharmaceuticals, and 50 other impurities.
- Reduces pharmaceuticals, including ibuprofen, progesterone, atenolol, trimethoprim, and fluoxetine.* (*Impurities not necessarily present in all users' water)
- Removes 99% of lead.
- Reduces 99% of Bisphenol A (BPA), 99% of Perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA), and Perfluorooctane Sulfonate (PFOS).
- Certified to reduce chloramines and chlorine taste and odor, providing better-tasting water and ice.
For the best filtration results, replace the water filter every 6 months or 300 gallons (or sooner if the water flow rate declines).
