easy to install but was confirmed as "bad board"
First the shipping container for the item was unacceptable for a $350 electronic board! It was in a black plastic wrap and inserted into a larger cardboard box WITHOUT any padding. The plastic wrap was covered with punctures from the circuit board component penetration's on the bottom of the circuit board. I replaced the board and nothing happened. I noticed one of the IC heat sinks was extremely hot! I called tech support and they said since nothing was working (not even the interface panel on the front of the refrigerator, the previous board at least had the interface panel working) the board must be bad. I was told to order a new board which I did! I told them about the previous board being shipped such a bad package so that maybe the replacement would come in a more substantial well protected container. But guess what, I received the replacement board and it was shipped very close to the packaging of the first. I hope it works! I have to make a six hour drive to put it in and to see if it works. BUT more importantly, the tech support has been wonderful! The lady who has been helping me has been a joy to work with. Could not say enough good about her! If the newest board I just received works, my rating will go up to a GOOD.
