Do disassembly required you just pop pff the old one connect the new one and pop it in Only need to hold in the tab with a thin blade on the right hand side to do this. Easy for DIY era.

Easy replacement

The price on this part was better from Sears than any of the usual parts places I would normally use. It arrived on time and was a direct replacement for the broken door switch in my refrigerator. I did have to trim the wall panel for the switch to fit properly but it was no more than a 1/32nd of an inch to get a good snug fit and was easily done with a utility knife. Altogether the repair took a couple of minutes and the new switch looks perfect and works flawlessly.
