RO pre and post filters
Package came pout packed with filters rolling about. The plastic on the pre and post filter was torn and black charcoal powder was found at the bottom with place residue on one of the filters. Not sure if the integrity of the filter was compromised but with the cost and time it took to get to me, I decided to use them anyway. The water quality was sketchy for a couple days after installing all new filters. Cloudy mostly, but initially very few charcoal flakes were present. Water seems to be fine now. Would have helped to have an instruction sheet to confirm just the qtr turn was needed.

Poor Quality Control
Unfortunately I have to give Sears Part Direct One Star for this one. It took three try's to get it right. The first delivery was a single post/pre-filter that arrive in an unseal package and contaminated at the insertion point. The second delivery arrived containing both filters in a unseal package once again and one of the filters was contaminated at the insertion point. On the third delivery the product arrived in a sealed package with no discrepancies. I feel this is because on my third contact with customer service I had to instruct them to attach special instructions to the order; do not ship if unsealed. Sears should not be shipping these filter that are part of a fresh water drinking system that have not been properly sealed after manufacturing. Anyone that receives these filters as I did should reject them and return them for a sealed replacement or a refund.

Easy to install Filters
RO filters changed out fast. I would recommend anyone that has this unit to add a shut off valve to the reservoir tank for filter changes. This way the tank pressure does not have to be released and the unit is never down or need to be re-pressurized.

Bad deal caused a leak which ruined the cabinet.
There was a bad o ring in one of the filter cartridge seals and it leaked into the cabinet under the si k where the unit is positioned. Now I have a warped particle board bottom of the under sink cabinet. I turned the water supply off but it was too late. The water dropped down to the bedroom below the kitchen causing all kinds of damage.
